Oh glitabo - I'm eating my lunch and I've just spluttered crumbs! grin

That should have been pram not pam. Now this is senior moment stuff.
confused

glitabo Wed 05-Sept-12 12:21:48

Must add that a friend of mine saw me do it and stood by the pam until I got back to it.

I once left my baby in his pram outside the supermarket and walked home pushing the trolley. I can't put that down to senior moment it must have been post natal doolally.

Elegran -Eek !

Marelli Wed 05-Sept-12 11:49:43

Liked that, Elegran - I'd not heard it before!
A couple of days I received my new debit card, so I cut up the old one into tiny bits. Next day I used the new card to buy some shopping....and when I punched in my PIN my card was rejected! The new card that I'd received was for an account I rarely use, and I'd cut up the one I use all the time.....luckily I had enough cash on me blush!

ariadne Reminds me of the Amazon reviews for Veet for Men.

It's been linked to before, but in case you missed it.

Ha, ha Ariadne - that's a good one too! grin

Anagram Wed 05-Sept-12 10:45:17

Oh, Elegran! I remember that one from school...grin (Evening all)

Ariadne Wed 05-Sept-12 10:44:48

Years ago, there was what was probably one of the first spray deodorants. Can't remember what it was called but it was quite vicious. Stung a lot! It was in a squeezy pink bottle.

Anyway, DH was in the bathroom, and I heard cries of agony. He had squirted this stuff liberally, and not just under his arms.....heaven only knows what he'd been doing with the roll on!

Joke:
What sort of deodorant do smelly people use? Not sure.

Elegran Wed 05-Sept-12 10:39:41

I told GGS an old joke last week, which convulsed him with glee.

You need to visualise me standing with arms raised and an expression of horror on my face, saying "And who put cement powder in my deodorant?"

I did miss out the companion joke - "How does a policewoman part her hair?" Answer "Evening all!" said while doing a PC49 knees-out bend.

I've nearly moisturised my face with toothpaste a few times, and cleaned my teeth with moisturiser.

I'm at work too, baubles, but I have to keep sneaking a look at GN!
Agree about the underarm hair as well - I never did have that much, but now it's just a few straggly bits! grin

I know J roll on retirement, not that I'm wishing my life away as I've still got 18 months to go. Nonu I don't seem to have so much of that now, another age thing I suppose! Absent you're right, it would have had to stay like that, it takes me an age to wash & dry my hair.

This forum is a bad influence on me, I'm at work!!!

gracesmum Wed 05-Sept-12 10:18:17

Are you walking around with your arms stuck out like a scarecrow?? grin Mustn't mock, have "washed" hair with conditioner and sprayed with suede cleaner which happened to be sitting beside hairspray.

absentgrana Wed 05-Sept-12 09:09:54

baubles At least that was easy to wash off. Supposing you'd sprayed your hair with deodorant.

Nonu Wed 05-Sept-12 09:09:20

At least it will keep the underarm hair neat grin

JO4 Wed 05-Sept-12 09:07:56

Serves you right for being so flippin' active. hmm

baublesbanglesandb Wed 05-Sept-12 09:04:58

Sprayed hairspray instead of deodorant under my arms.....aargh! I'be been up since six as usual so haven't just woken up. I've taken DH to the station, done the laundry, prepared my lunch and tonight's dinner, walked the dog, done some online shopping then jumped in the shower. Off to work now, hope that's the only really stupid thing I do today. blush
