Pick Me Up magazine

Anyone else seen this magazine? It was on the shelf at the supermarket by the till. From the cover headlines it seems to be full of stories of terrible family tragedies.. but it is called Pick Me Up. Sounded as if it would do the opposite. hmm

Some people do get a lift from hearing of other people's misfortunes, though - it must make them realise their own lives are not that bad after all!

I think there's an old Chinese proverb, Anagram, but I can't remember exactly how it goes. Something like: 'There's no better news than to hear that your neighbour's roof has blown away....' Probably got it completely wrong, but I can understand the meaning of it! hmm
