Paralympic Closing Ceremony

I wasn't intending to watch it but, from the moment it started, I was hooked; the music was amazing and the metal creations were out of this world. I had a bath when Coldplay were on as I find them a bit tiresome [hmm, shall we have a small slot at the end of the Olympic Ceremony or have the whole Paralympic Closing ceremony to ourselves to do a 'Coldplay, best of set'?] Even the one's who weren't Coldplay seemed to perform Coldplay songs [I did think Rihanna and Jay'Z were good, though]. It seemed like a fusion of a scene from AI, Transformers or even War Horse [the play not the film]and encapsulated the spirit of the Paralympics totally. In fact, I'd love to watch it again.

Loved the ParaOrchestra, but I cannot stand the dirge like music of Coldplay. But, as you so rightly say, POGS it was for the young people, and they obviously enjoyed it immensely.

So - that's it, then. I shall really miss it all.

merlotgran Macca would have been more appropriate given his disability, i.e. he cannot sing.

Thank God they booked Coldplay and not Macca.
