Today I:
Visited the dentist (no charge because he was re-doing some earlier work that wasn't up to scratch).
Had my nails done to keep them in good condition for the wedding and gave some help to the Vietnamese manicurist. (She had school paperwork to fill in about her four year old son and as soon as she heard I'm an ESOL teacher she scurried off to find the forms. This is very typical.)
Did some admin for a Chinese student who needed help with his business.
Listened in as my daughter had three phone calls from various health professionals - and I'm glad to report that a consultant appointment is on its way.
Became very angry!!! See my post!!
Enjoyed spending time with my lovely grandson.
Interview with the economist billionaires fear: this is how we get a wealth tax

for everyone who needs one.
Then it started to drizzle so we went to a French restaurant, had lunch, wandered through John Lewis (well it would be rude not too, really
) came home, drew the curtains and settled down. A gentle kind of day.
! Hope you got the car sorted out ....and also the chutney
?
I shall blame Good Housekeeping if it all goes pear shaped.
and
at the beach cafe and this afternoon I am making clementine and cranberry chutney ready for home-made Christmas presents; heaven knows why, as I haven't made chutney for years and years so it will probably be a disaster - time will tell
