POGS I think you may be getting a bit confuddled, there was a rather nauseating song rendered even worse by having a simpering adenoidal child singing the verses, called "There's no one quite like Grandma" the chorus of which included "Grandma, we love you"

Then there was the equally vomit making song sung by Clive doo dah from Dad's Army, called "Grandad" with the chorus "Grandad, grandad, we love you"

Personally I have always substitued my own lyrics, for example "There's no one quite like Grandma, she has her funny ways, and sometimes no one speaks to her for days and days and days" Or " Grandad, grandad, you're ugly, that's what we all think of you"
