Ana Mon 05-Nov-12 20:05:21

Good idea, phoenix - that'll bring a glow to the cheeks!

Anne58 Mon 05-Nov-12 20:03:30

How about putting a slow cooker on the bar full of gluwein? Might be just the job on a cold night.

Smoluski Mon 05-Nov-12 20:01:59

Anne58 Mon 05-Nov-12 18:26:23

I belive the terms used today are "previously loved" or "vintage" ?

Ana Mon 05-Nov-12 18:23:43

Thanks, Pete - as long as they've not been 'pre-worn'....

Pete Mon 05-Nov-12 18:18:29

Gramps A brand new pair are warming, in the snug, for you! Don't wander near the Bonfire until its well alight...remember last year..when you were mistaken for the guy shock
Ana Baked King Eddies will be available for you later... grin

Elegran Mon 05-Nov-12 18:17:00

Too much warmth not kind thereabouts though. Hot potato!

Anne58 Mon 05-Nov-12 18:10:48

Ohh, I don't know, if it was a baked Kind Edward, it could provide a bit of warmth.

Ana Mon 05-Nov-12 17:51:01

Have you lost yourself again, gramps? Don't worry, I'm sure Pete will be able to rally round with some replacement longjohns - just make sure you remove the King Edward first! hmm

gramps Mon 05-Nov-12 17:43:54

Has anyone seen an old , er,I mean , A gentleman of mature years, looking slightly bemused. He claims to be looking for a replacement pair of longjohns which apparently were devoured by drunken revelers after the Halloween shin dig!
He is willing to give a large IOU to anyone with revealing information! Please reply in confidence to ;- spmarg, c/o "Drop in for Dropouts" Hanger Round,
Wotsit, Ware.

It's a bit parky round the Gorbals!!

Pete Mon 05-Nov-12 13:33:39

Cheers Ana..... wondered which cheapskate would turn up first gringrin

Ana Mon 05-Nov-12 13:23:51

Oh, no, Pete - you don't want to go buying things! That £500 should see us through the day (as long as Lil doesn't take it into her head to deduct all the IOUs from it...hmm)
