I have just seen what I thought was going to be a joke on another thread "What's the difference between a ceramic hob and an induction hob?" but it turned out to be a genuine question.

I do try - perhaps a few other members could post a few jokes?

soop Please pass on my real sadness that nellie has left. I don't post often but I was humbled by her story and amazed by her strength and her humour and her whole attitude to life. In my personal opinion, GN was the better for her being here. I am sorry if my opinion is too late for her to hear.

The last thread I read, I got the impression that she had opened up too far and maybe regretted it slightly and needed to retreat.Perhaps we should just respect that.

I've not been around on GN long, but what I really like is the supportiveness from everyone when someone is in trouble - and often frank opinions which probably wouldn't be possible from a close friend as it may upset. But when it does it's usually followed by profuse apologies as chatting in this way is really quite difficult!
But I like feel that you're chatting to acquaintances over coffee, or a face you vaguely know at the bus stop, something which can be walked away from or develop into deeper friendship.
The last thread I saw involving Nellie was when she was starting her new job and there were flowers, support and best wishes from everyone. I do hope she comes back - she seems like a lovely lady.

Was it something one of us said? She was a life-enhancing presence in our Forums. Please give her my love soop and tell her we miss her.

Oh no - I'm so sorry to hear that nellie's upset and unhappy! Why haven't we come over as more supportive to her - she needs that from us. I feel as if we've let her down in some way.
