Hangs head and walks away from another thread with tail between legs ...again. At this rate the only place to go will be Lil's Bar. [horror oh no not there emoticon]

I have had three interesting experiences with mice:

1. The case of the church mouse - when I worked in the church in the village the photocopier was kept in the tower; one day it wasn't working and we discovered that a mouse had got into the workings and chewed through a cable. This was not, however, as funny as the church mouse who decided to take a walk down the aisle during a communion service - cue some hysterical women!

2. The case of the mouse in the night - we were fast asleep in bed when I felt a rustling in my hair; I moved. A second of so later, husband suddenly sits up in bed shouting "it's a bloody mouse!". It was, too. We spent ages trying to catch the darn thing.

3. The case of the mouse in the cupboard - lots of shredded paper under the sink in the utility room. The war went on for weeks - how many times did the wretched thing steal the cheese or whatever? In the end DH got nasty and we caught and killed the visitor.

You have probably realised by now that we are cat owners - corpses in the house are fairly common. My neighbour has learnt, when she cat sits for us, to be careful where she puts her feet when she comes in!

My gran would have given a good dose of brimstone and treacle, seemed to cure all ills (or you didn't admit to any in case you got given it )

No I tried chasing the mouse with Henry last night. The mouse was much faster....

One of DS's neighbours managed somehow to get a mouse in the Dyson. She was frantic and my DS had to be summoned to get rid of it at the bottom of his garden. So - if all else fails, hoover them up!

Only vampires and no rabies in England anyway!

I thought they carried rabies?

Why? Bats are lovely. Particularly old ones!

Don't you have to be very careful when it comes to bats?
