PS I really do like Christmas, it is a reason to be happy and give gifts, and for me it was the only time that my Mum ever seemed happy to spend any time with us.

JessM why dont you like Christmas--people usually have a reason, My Dad did not like Christmas because my brother died 24 December and my husband does not like Christmas because he says that everywere is closed!!

You're kind thoughts followed me these last two weeks. It's the first time I've ever felt supported at this time, and a big anonymous thanks to one person in particular who has helped me 'when the nights have been too lonely and the path has been too long'.
I know there can sometimes be trouble and strife on GN, but there is also the helping hands and kind wishes of so many and I'd like to return you kind wishes

Yesterday was my little grandson's Angel Day. I cried buckets and when I thought I was all cried out I turned on the news and found I had still more tears inside me.
