I'm unable to send you a private message. Why is that? Am concerned. confused

soop Thu 06-Dec-12 12:50:44

Ana He loves Mr soop more... wouldn't leave him for second yesterday morning as he dug a trench in the garden. Rory opted to sit in the trench, looking adoringly at Mr S and, yet again, cleaning himself to within a whisker of whatever. We've never known a cat to be so particular. smile

Ana Thu 06-Dec-12 12:42:12

You see, soop! He really does love you, after all smile

soop Thu 06-Dec-12 12:40:17

smile Grannylin Have pedalled furiously hard on my exercise bike. Out of puff! May invite Rory in for a wee while. He was such a good boy yesterday afternoon. Didn't leave my side. Washed himself silly. Rolled over on his back, waving four paws in the air. Made me laugh out loud.

Grannylin Thu 06-Dec-12 12:24:31

Pull him out of that corner ,give him a vigorous brush and take him out for a cold walk and he'll give you a waggle and a big lickxx

soop Thu 06-Dec-12 11:39:27

Black dog didn't wish to be erased. He's lurking in the corner.

soop Thu 06-Dec-12 11:38:22

Smoluski Sun 25-Nov-12 16:39:45

Oh I have soop my darling son wanted to buy them for me,but E was throwing a hissy fit, have to play low key with her this time of year otherwise an absolute a**e,will try on when in town next and they may have to fall into my shopping bag...or they could be my present...to me grin

anno dogs have people..cats have staff, grin

annodomini Sun 25-Nov-12 16:22:02

Smol, reminds me of when I had a ginger cat and a black one. Ginger one would make a beeline for anyone wearing a dark outfit and the black one favoured anyone wearing white. Contrary beasts, cats.

soop Sun 25-Nov-12 16:03:53

NellieSmol Those shoes...what with Christmas and a birthday coming up, why not drop some very heavy hints. You deserve a treat. smile

Smoluski Sun 25-Nov-12 15:29:35

Exactly the same merlot have a black lab and colour coordinated accordingly, the ginger mutt accompanying my son,has thrown a spanner in the works, but I cannot say down dogs and have to have a cuddle as I charge in the door dispensing treats as I go love my doggies...my outward appearance is at odds with the other appearance.. ....like the other one bestgrin love nellie compoxxx

merlotgran Sun 25-Nov-12 15:21:52

Ditto the dogs' hairs, NellieSmol. Our dogs are mostly white so if I'm wearing black I charge through the back door shouting, 'DOWN, DOWN' until I reach the safety of the bedroom. Quick change into something sloppy and then they can have a cuddle.

Smoluski Sun 25-Nov-12 15:15:59

Thank you all for your support, having been out today all poshed up came home straight into comfy pj'sand hoody...my excuse don't want ginger dog hairs on my black clothes...
I am in love...
With the shoes I saw in clarkes..heather coloured suede court shoes, cut colour, feel ...drool...I need them in my cupboard, have a lovely wine coloured velvet dress to go with.....very slinky...[dreamy greedy face]

Ana Sat 24-Nov-12 17:15:49

Oh dear, sorry you didn't get it, nellie sad

Don't let it put you off though - there is a wonderful job out there for you somewhere, it's just a case of finding it! Good luck for future applications.

Smoluski Sat 24-Nov-12 17:12:36

Thank you for asking it I assume was a nay as it is customary not to bother to let applicants know, but have seen the women who went in after me at the till working, think I may have been overdressed as wearing my nice red coat and a scarf, smart trousers, and nice little suede ankle boots with a cheeky bow on the side,in black,Madame behind me wore a fleece, and jeans, and trainers, seems as I may have got it a tad wrong dress wise confused .
Did have a nice civilised letter from Haven books where I applied as a body in the offices, telling me I was unselected, probably past my sell by date, but good luck in my chosen careergrin
That letter really cheered me up so friendly...even if it was a thanks but no .

soop Sat 24-Nov-12 11:41:48
