Deer cause immense damage to trees. Lynx prey on deer. Should lynx be re-introduced into the Highlands?

Farmers are worried because sheep are much easier prey than deer.

Perhaps the farmers should get alpacas which I understand are very fierce guardians of sheep. I'm not sure whether they are up to dealing with a lynx. Perhaps a pack of alpacas.
