Its snowing here!!!!

Oh dear I hope we don't get it.

I am off to Harrogate tomorrow so I hope its not snowing there.

Yes, the snow here is about four feet thick now, very white, not slushy at all, and with no pollution to dirty it. Sun is forecast for tomorrow and it is lovely when we have blue skies and the wind drops. The ski season usually opens officially on the 10th December, if the pistes are firm enough. It is well below freezing now, so that should help.

Snow has just this second started here, I have my CCTV monitor on and can see big flakes.

We have had plenty of fog around Manchester today. Long motorway queues and a few barmy drivers taking risks on the outside lane. It was lovely to get home to a warm house. I don't mind heavy snow or fog when I don't need to go anywhere

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas............ Not likely to have one though as I'll be in Cape Town!

I know greatnan I just wish I could just jump on a plane and be with you, I have tried to get to Manchester for the meet but its impossible, one day last week there was a glimmer of a hope that I could make it but no its faded

Well I had best hit the sack, I have to be up and out of here for 7am to catch a train, sweet dreams hope I am not snowed in

No signs of any snow here just constant rain and very very cold,the sky does look very grey though and not to appealing giving the whole area a dark and bleak appearance.
I wish it would snow as I have some new wellies and am itching to wear them they have all differant coloured spots all over very girly.

We've had blue skies.sun and heavy frost all week - yesterday was particularly wonderful but at about 6 it started to sleet and this morning the ground is covered in icy sleet patches - very dangerous underfoot but another glorious day.

glassortwo we are going to spend Christmas with our son who lives there.

No snow here and yesterday's freezing fog has gone. It's bright with some fluffy clouds and still cold. [snowflake emoticon would be good]

Have a nice time, glass! From my window I see the Lomond Hills covered in snow, the sun making them look pink. The pavements are treacherous.....might need to stay in and try to sort out who's getting what for Christmas.....
