Why do they have to do this! Casablanca was of its time and that time cannot be reproduced. The idea that we need to know what happened to these people is silly. The "not knowing" is part of the intrigue of the story. Leave it to our imaginations.

There is news today that they intend to make a sequel to Casablanca. Do you think this is good idea? Will they be able to match Bogart and Bergman?

What do you think happened to Rick and Ilse? Did Rick become a war hero? Did Ilse support Laszlo? Did Laszlo survive the war or did the Gestapo get him?
