I read that his parents are dance teachers, and he watches their students. I don't think it's strange that he would want to copy them; I think I would be a bit careful about how much exposure he got to audiences and cameras.

DS1 would also dance in front of the TV when Top of the Pops was on. he had a repertoire of 2 dances, the "Knees Bend Boogie" and the "Clutch Willy Shuffle"

I watched some of the other videos of him and read that his parents are dancers - someone suggested world champions in paso doble so he has obviously watched a lot of dancing. Not to mention inherited the genes.

My eldest GS loved to dance as a toddler, and still does at age 13! In the days of Top of the Pops on TV, he would move along to the videos and copy the moves exactly, perfectly in time. It was his favourite pastime and, although shy, he loved an audience of doting family members. I therefore found nothing odd about this link. I expect the type of music was something enjoyed by his parents.

I've seen it before and I didn't like it either.

Ana , if you say so .

Shrug

Ana Sun 02-Dec-12 19:48:55

It's not 'putting down', Nonu. It's showing concern.

Ariadne Sun 02-Dec-12 19:48:38

I saw this from a link on FB, and I too think it looked a bit contrived..

Nonu Sun 02-Dec-12 19:42:44

Why o why do we always have to "put down " it was a child enjoying himself !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

annodomini Sun 02-Dec-12 19:35:10

Although he gave every appearance of enjoying it, I did find it unnatural and worrying that so young a child could give such a performance. First reaction might be 'how cute', but the longer he went on, I was thinking, 'surely he has other child-like pursuits to follow'.

I thought it was great ! Imagine if it was at a wedding people would be delighted.

What nationality is it ?

Thanks jingl, for saying that. I think it's creepy. And there are more clips of him, doing other dances.

That is weird.

I don't think I like that. Not sure why.
