Me too jeni I was sick after dinner every night, seemed such a shame to lose the best meal of the day. I was sick in the mornings too and continued right until I had the baby.

My DD was very sick for over 3 months and my DIL didn't stop being sick until the baby arrived and then it disappeared like magic!!

Neither I or my daughter had more than a bit of vague queasiness when pregnant. We were very lucky! It must be dreadful, feeling and being sick is awful.

Friends of my daughters' have suffered with this particular sort of 'morning sickness' and it's been dreadful for them. It goes on for ages. Even their own saliva makes them sick. They couldn't keep any food or water down and one went down to 6 stones in weight!

People who dismiss it as 'morning sickness - everyone suffers from it' haven't a clue about how awful it is for the expectant mother.

Neither did I Gally. It was a real shock to see how sick my daughter was when she was pregnant; it was relentless. I'd never understood why people had taken medication for morning sickness as I thought, if anything that it was just a bit of a queasy feeling sometimes.

Why are they calling it 'morning sickness' when she's got it all the time? hmm
I hope she feels better soon - nothing worse than throwing up all day long, not that I ever had that problem sad

Well I for one am very pleased for them, as I would be for any young couple and their families.

I hope all goes well, health wise and I am glad that boy or girl he/she will be given the same position in the royal family.

She looked well enough visiting Cambridge last week. I wonder if she has caught the noro virus!

jO5 Mon 03-Dec-12 17:11:38
