Has anyone seen Absent?

I think absent is unlikely to be 'made' to leave us, yogagran. She's not that sort of lady (I wouldn't think, anyway).

I'm glad you bumped this thread Ella as I was concerned too and wondering what has happened. Just hope that Mr.Absent hasn't discovered her posts and made her leave us

Surely she wouldn't have closed her membership just to get a job done, she must know we miss her.

There should be a box to tick when one of us leaves, to say...tell everyone goodbye

absent did say she had taken on a last minute job that had to be completed before Chrismas and she wasn't sure how she was going to make it in time.

That has been at least a week now. I am very puzzled and . Absent was is an 'original' in both senses of the word. I feel I have lost a friend and cannot imagine why.

I just hope that she might be "lurking" and see how much she is valued and missed.

Sorry you weren't missed gally neither would I be. It's just that some GNetters post several times a day every day and are therefore more noticeable when they vanish.

Perhaps they could be persuaded to send out a standard 'your absence has been noted and everyone is very concerned' message, and the recipient could then either respond to the forum or send a PM to another member.
