For me its freedom

That is such a difficult question. I find it hard to answer the "really" bit right now. Do my "blessings" add up to more than my concerns, and difficulties, I find it difficult to decide at times. Others on GN have many more problems than I do. In many aspects I am very lucky with what I have, but really happy? Its probably pondering on my relationship that's the fundamental cause of my cuurent state of negativity.

Sorry folks if that has put a damper on the thread. I will get over it after Christmas I hope.

Thank you all. Being on Gransnet makes me realise how many people have health problems, both themselves and their partners, and yet deal with them so cheerfully and encourage others.

What makes me very happy is that my DH, who has had major cardiac surgery, is finally home from hospital today. It has been an awful few weeks but now I feel we can look forward to having a quiet christmas together and a return to health in the new year. Our family and friends have been amazing and we feel very blessed.

I read in our local news/advertising magazine that they are planning to start an outreach library in a village outside Bath, near where I live. I E-mailed straight away and said I'd love to volunteer and it seems there will be story telling for children, book sales and whatever else volunteers would like to organise. This might just be an answer to "I still haven't found what I'm looking for". I love feeling excited and enthusiastic about a new project.

I'm happy for you too, london sunshine and merlot for coping cheerfully with so much when some people whinge at the slightest trivial thing. When you realise how lucky you are you know what really matters.flowers
