As my DGD is only 18/12 old, I think I've a long wait til I join that club!

Quite Ariadne

Interesting to observe where you emerge every now and then, messenger.

a no am a GGM but am not that advanced yet grin messenger

messenger Mon 17-Dec-12 21:07:01

Because I happen to think that ladies improve with advanced age...like good wine and the ladies know so much more than us GDs and they know what THEY want to satisfy them.grin

Ana Mon 17-Dec-12 20:57:50

How do you know, messenger? hmm

messenger Mon 17-Dec-12 20:51:19

Hi Frank....the idea is good as a GD I would like to meet some of the GGMs they are quite good looking if Imay say sogrin

I have 5 great grandchildren hunterf smile

Ana Mon 17-Dec-12 17:49:42

Yes. But we couldn't go on theirs until we became Greatgrandparents too! hmm

annodomini Mon 17-Dec-12 17:46:14

But Greatgrandparents are also grandparents. So then they'd have two forums or three if they fancied Mumsnet.

jO5 Mon 17-Dec-12 17:26:18

I think a forum for Greatgranparents to have all to themselves is a fantastic idea.

I can't remember why.

kittylester Mon 17-Dec-12 17:02:00

Anno I thought this was going to be a thread extolling the virtues of GN as a sort of antidote to the other thread.

The only Greatgrandparent I know is my Mum, apart from Greatnan of course.

glammanana Mon 17-Dec-12 16:51:33

Don't let us forget that we are all younger in body and mind than previous generations as well,it is very possible that we could be GGrandparents in the next yr or two and that would not do my street credibility any good at all.grin

Ana Mon 17-Dec-12 16:45:36

You're on fire today anno! grin

annodomini Mon 17-Dec-12 16:43:34

But this is already a GREAT site! grin

Anne58 Mon 17-Dec-12 15:56:37

Now come on HUNTERF , if we start down that route, who knows what chaos might ensue? (Not that I'm a Great Grandparent) grin

janthea Mon 17-Dec-12 15:50:33

HUNTERF But they are still grandparents as well?

HUNTERF Mon 17-Dec-12 14:34:43

I do not know if I am typical but I know several Great Granparents. Should we therefore have a Great Gransnet site?.
