soop, my mogs have often been an amazing comfort through some very dark times. I know that some think dogs to be the only animals to pick up on these things, but I have always had both dogs and cats (until recent years). When Jack died 12/12/2008, I only had cats and two of the three of them were definitely showing different behavior.

PS No cat thinks that they have lowly status! They were, of course all kings and queens in a previous existence.

Feeling myself gradually slide into a bout of depression, was too dismal to share with you, especially at what should be a festive time of the year. I can only describe it as being the loneliest, bleakest place on earth. I needed your companionship, yet I could barely put my irrational pain into words. Those of my pals who understood, did their best to keep in touch. The daily hugs by text, were truly comforting. Mr soop, as always, has been amazing. Rory has kept me company. He's such a good cat, considering his lowly status.

Oh soop so lovely to have you back! I'm sometimes in the dark place too, or as I put it "being hounded by the black dog" much love to you and yours!

Lovely to see you back again Soop. I`m sorry that you haven`t been well, and even sorrier that I didn`t know, like others, I thought you were away on a little holiday. Hope you`re back to stay now, and that you have a wonderful Christmas. Your little man is gorgeous!

What can I say... went away to do a few jobs around the hoos and returned to find lovely messages. I'm so LUCKY to have you lot as pals. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I wish that I could hug you all. You have warmed my heart and lifted my spirits.

I was getting quite worried about you especially with all this talk of people leaving GN and just disappearing. I very much hope you are seeing daylight again, metaphorically speaking - we have missed you so much!

Soop so, so sorry you have been in the 'dark place' - have missed you but I thought you were having a grand time in Norfolk . At this time of year the dark place beckons and it just takes one extra worry to find yourself falling in. You must be very proud of your brave son, off to Afghanistan for good, not agressive, reasons. You bring sunshine into so many lives so I am sending some to you (although according to the forecast it may not arrive until tomorrow afternoon) (((((big hug)))))
