No he won in the Olympics and won a grand slam - but not Wimbledon. You are obviously as fascinated by tennis as I am ana. For me it belongs with soccer as one of those activities that I am sure is great fun to take part in if you have put in the necessary hours of practice. But why would anyone want to watch them do it? Any more than they would want to watch me reading or trying to crochet? Mystified of MK.
Well done Wiggo-a worthy winner indeed. My friend thought he was arrogant. I disagreed...LikeNonu I think he is very laid back...a bit cheeky and unconventional...a real personality.
I commented to DH that Wiggo had a mod haircut. It's not a very flattering cut for him but I suppose he probably wears his cycle helmet 90% of the time.
Any of you youngsters in your early 50s or any over 70s may not appreciate the nuances. Velvet double breasted suit in dark blue and a "mod" haircut. Think The Who or The Small Faces, late 1960s. He actually also brings to mind Wallace and Grommitt for me. I thought he and Lewis were competing for dandy of the night.
