Over the past couple of years I've been aware of certain chief constables being sacked, disciplined, etc but I'm shocked at the actual numbers!
According to Gilligan, in the past 18 months, 11 of the 39 forces in the UK have had one or more of their top leaders 'under a cloud'.
I'm generally a supporter of the police, knowing what a hard job it must be, even with the few bad apples that tarnish the image, but I'm truly staggered at the misbehaviour at the very top.
