I would like to formerly thank my darling plague rats for their generosity. They have very kindly shared their snotty colds with me the day before Christmas; so now not only do I have to cook a meal for 11 with a plaster on my leg, I will now be streaming too. Hey ho ;)

I think they are commomly known as people who don't stay indoors and keep their germs to themselves.Poor you nana help is needed from the family I think wink

My plague rats are 8,7,6 and 15months and they are all turning up in time for lunch, so other than my OH, who has his set jobs, no delegating for me!! Never mind. I will be sitting down after lunch and not budging ;)

Oh no! Poor nanapug!

We are just about to venture forth to the den of germs at my DDs for Xmas, where there will be 5 children aged 14 months to 9 years, all breathing their nasty bugs! One has just got over some nasty virus.

My DD who is pregnant is steering as well clear as she can.

I too am on crutches and hopping slowly about.

All I care about is being well to get to my consultant appointment a week today to find out what the future holds footwise.

Happy Christmas to all - stay well!!

nanapug Little plague rats can be excussed can't they just give them loads of cuddles it's the big ones that annoy me spreading their germs everywhere when they are big enough to know better, everyone seems to be suffering at the moment poor you mishap take extra care no taboggoning for you then this year just relax and get everyone to wait on you for the duration.

DD1's OH has gone down with Norovirus so won't be joining us tomorrow. It's a shame but I'm glad he's done the sensible thing and decided to go to his mother's grin

One year I was up all Christmas Eve with cystitis, had the turkey in the oven by 6am cos there was nothing else to do an was down at the doctor's at 9am begging for antibiotics. Survived family lunch and spent the rest of the day in bed - so festive!

One of my grandchildren, who has just started school, was diagnosed Xmas eve with worms so whole family have had to be treated. Talk about plague rats.
Why don't schools let parents know if there are such things as nits and worms in the school.

Thank goodness that Christmas is over!
