Another grandchild in March.

I suspect a girl as boys seem to have gone out of existance in our family.

vampire so sorry, there are perhaps some GNetters who have been through this and can advise? Will you be able to take your teacher's pension?
jodi good luck and pollyann happy for you.

I suspect that most of us have little idea of the changes that might lie ahead of us.

My life changes at midnight tonight and I don't know how I feel about it. My ill health notice comes to an end so as from midnight I no longer have a job. I will get benefits but I've never had them before and am totaly flumoxed by how the system works. Also don't like the idea of being a benefits scrounger but not able to work with this illness.

I've always been defined by my job. If I'm not a teacher, what am I?

Huge changes coming up for me. Firstly I'll be living in the Scottish Highlands as co-owner of a small hotel. My research project has been approved but I'll be acting in a supervisory capacity only so flying down to the midlands once a week for two days. Mr Jodi will stay in the family home and I'll see him once or twice a week, which will be more than enough!

I will be having my first grandbaby in February. This will be a huge chance for me and I cannot hardly wait for the next six weeks smile
