Mopping sweat from brow. Took best part of the morning to delete dear Mr soop's "pose in tartan" from my album. Thankfully, he's unaware. Whew! grin

jeni Tue 08-Jan-13 21:43:35

OH YES!

I really love a nice tight pear!grin

Ella46 Tue 08-Jan-13 21:36:37

It was actually.........Ana who noticed Mr soop's nether regions reflected in the window!
I think if phoenix was any sort of friend, she would make a proper effort to take a photo of Mr P for us all. [hopeful emoticon]

jeni Tue 08-Jan-13 21:03:49

Ouch!

Ana Tue 08-Jan-13 21:01:24

Perhaps we should put it all behind us, jeni...grin

jeni Tue 08-Jan-13 21:00:23

I DO think we should really get to the bottom of this problem!
But then, if we bottomed out of this discussion, someone might say 'we hadn't got the bottle to bottom it' - if you get my drift?confused

Not sure I do? [even more ]confused

Ana Tue 08-Jan-13 20:30:33

Well, jeni, the bottom line is that we don't actually know how many 'lurkers' were privy to the photos in question - the figures could be in the thousands...! shock

jeni Tue 08-Jan-13 20:25:03

How many of us are 'behind' this interest?

Ana Tue 08-Jan-13 20:24:02

Oh dear, yes, I admit I didn't read your post properly phoenix blush

Perhaps the beard has grown since soop took that photo? Perhaps he thought no one would recognise him...

Anne58 Tue 08-Jan-13 20:15:23

Ella possibly extensions? (On the beard I mean)

Anne58 Tue 08-Jan-13 20:14:22

Ana ! I don't, and neither did I infer that I did! Read back, and I think you'll find that I was referring to my DH's bottom!

I do however think that "someone" not me, possibly jO5 had made a comment on Mr Soops nether regions being reflected in the window behind him.

Ana Tue 08-Jan-13 20:08:25

How do you know what Mr Soop's derriere looks like, phoenix??? shock

Anne58 Tue 08-Jan-13 19:53:28

jeni ! All this travelling to foreign parts! You come back here with your fancy mediterranean ways! shock

Actually, Mr P has a rather delectable derriere, but I stand no chance of capturing it for posterior posterity, it's hard enough to get a picture of his face.

jeni Tue 08-Jan-13 19:47:15

wink

jeni Tue 08-Jan-13 19:47:02

We haven't seen the rear view! Buttocks are very important.!
You do realise that this is a purely medical interest?[ wink]

Ella46 Tue 08-Jan-13 19:40:25

He does have a white beard, but not quite as long!

Anne58 Tue 08-Jan-13 19:39:13

jeni , I don't think it would be possible to see more of Mr Soop without Gransnet needing some sort of licence!

Ella46 Tue 08-Jan-13 19:37:11

I think we've seen as much of Mr soop as we're going to! grin

jeni Tue 08-Jan-13 19:26:16

I want to see more of Mr Soop!
Perhaps we should form a fan club?

Ana Tue 08-Jan-13 18:54:58

OK, OK - I was only joking!
Having had another look, the catwalk bloke looks a bit like Charles Clarke ex of the previous government. Now on him a beard would be an improvement on that awful stubble he used to sport hmm

Anne58 Tue 08-Jan-13 18:50:15

I am NOT having fantasies about Mr Soop ! I thought he had a beard, but obviously I'm wrong. Actually, I'm not very keen on beards, especially after working with a chap who I occasionally had to tell that he had a stray baked bean or bit of cress in his.

Ana Tue 08-Jan-13 18:44:25

phoenix, having fantasies about Mr Soop with or without a bushy white beard (or clothes) is nothing to be ashamed of and is not a sign that you're losing it! I'm sure soop does it all the time....

Anne58 Tue 08-Jan-13 18:41:00

I thought that Mr Soop did have a beard, maybe not bushy or white, but a beard nonetheless. Tell me, Ana , I'm losing it, aren't I.

Ana Tue 08-Jan-13 18:38:09

grin Well, if Mr Soop had a bushy white beard, perhaps so!

Anne58 Tue 08-Jan-13 18:32:31

Oh, it rather reminded me of Mr Soop, but with clothes.

Ana Tue 08-Jan-13 18:28:34

Country gent of the catwalk, d'you mean, phoenix? Not particularly.....confused
