JAB I think knowing whats happening is half the battle, and it sounds as if you are going to be in the best of hands.

JAB I thought of you yesterday and wondered how you got on. I am pleased you now know what needs to be done, and feel in very capable hands. It's also nice to read of a positive experience of the NHS.

You'll be fine JAB. If it needs to go, it won't make one iota of difference to you to have one kidney. It will do the job just as well. Good to know you're going to be ok

Hello to all you lovely caring people, thank you all for your thoughts today they really did help, the verdict was that the kidney will have to go, the specialist was a lovely man and was really considerate, and as (his words) I have been through so much with being given wrong treatments etc, ( I won't bore you with all that) he will give me extra special care, he is transferring me to a private hospital where he also works (for the NHS) and he will do the op. himself, hopefully it will be keyhole surgery and I won't have to be in hospital for too long. He seemed to think it will be around March time when I'll have the op. Again thank you all for being such lovely people, I'll let you know when I get the date come. JAB

Funny thought us all in the room with JAB. We have been known to have virtual parties on hospital beds before. I think we were kicked out that time. Can we please come with you JAB, we would make you laugh.
