Tempur Mattress

Have just spent more pennies than I care to think about on a Tempur Cloud mattress. Have then gone on line to see it doesn't have particularly good reviews. Have we made a big mistake? We got an actual Tempur rather than a cheaper foam mattress because of the guarantee on it. Opinions please......

Absolutely adore mine, though it is more a thick Tempur top on a fully sprung mattress. Bliss!

I love mine, but need help to turn it as it's very heavy. If I was getting one now, I'd buy a sprung mattress with Tempur memory foam just at the top.

We were told not to turn our mattress - which is good as it is nigh on impossible. We've had our Tempur bed over 8 years now and still love it. The base is as good as new - no collapsing drawers. And the mattress showing no signs of sogginess. We both have arthritic aches and pains and if one of us is restless it doesn't disturb the other.

Oh, that's handy to know. I assumed you need to turn it like any other mattress. Have had it 6 years now and probably only turned it five or six times.

Could not lie on Tempur mattress, felt as though I was being eaten by it. Too warm for DH and I as the mattress holds the heat.

We spent my husband's Waitrose bonus on one a few years ago. So far it's shown no signs of wear although I have to admit it can get quite hot at night. I always take on line reviews with a pinch of salt because I've often found my experience has been quite different.

Love it being warmer than a conventional mattress. No more wincette nighties!

Well, not a bad night sleep with our new mattress. Better than I thought it would be for a first night. Woke quite often when I needed to turn over but found it very comfy really. Think I will get to like it smile

Oh dear, things not so good with this mattress. It is amazingly comfortable to lie on, but in the night when I need to turn over (which is quite frequently) I am really struggling. My back is now bad as is my knee. Is this coincidental or is it strain from having to heave myself out of my little pit every time I turn? My OH loves it and so I am not sure what to do. There is a 40 returns policy. Advice please oh wise ones.....

Turn over downwards. That's to say roll onto your tummy rather than your back. It isn't as far to go! I agree rolling onto your back out of the pit takes a lot of effort.
