Yes, being "nice" is great but can get a little soporific? (pedant alert - rising inflection at end of sentence!)

You don't get the pearl without the grit andI think that without a bit of a difference of opinion, life would be very dull and threads would end up talking about fluffy kittens like in the Harry Enfield sketch
But isn't it funny how sometimes the most innocuous-seeming threads seem to arouse the most controversy - remember the one about "banter"??

As soop says, thank goodness for diversity! And our threads are wonderfully diverse, to say the least!
