yes, gay people can be vicars. There was a gay vicar not long ago at the Parish Church in Stratton, near Bude in Cornwall.

He and his partner were also foster carers for a boy of about (I think) 12 or so.

Yes. Or it might be his partner in the picture. Apparently he was one of the pop group "the Communards" before he decided to become a vicar.

I didn't know gay people could be vicars. confused

It was innocent! It was that vicar who is on Radio 4 Saturday mornings. Or his partner.
