I love the rabbits Mercedes, wish that I could do things like that, I don`t have any skills.

The rabbits are beautiful Mercedes! Am I right in thinking that the pink one was your first? The other one looks much more difficult, you have improved so quickly! I don't think I would have the patience to work so neatly. Do you have instructions or do you make the designs yourself?
I am now going to look on the internet to see how it is done.

Wow mercedes your beading work looks fantastic!
What's the third picture down though?
What is it like living in Wuhan? Am I right in thinking it is China's largest city? Do you ever travel to other parts of China?

Thank goodness that mystery has been solved!

I know someone who does beading, we bought 2 of her balls at Christmas.

numberplease Tue 29-Jan-13 16:18:58

Me too!

Ariadne Tue 29-Jan-13 09:54:48

That would be a really good idea! I'd like to see your work, Mercedes

janeainsworth Tue 29-Jan-13 08:55:51

Mercedes You can put up a profile of yourself (click on Mygransnet at the top) and tell us a bit more about yourself and upload photos there smile
If you look at the names of posters, the blue ones are those who have written a profile.

LoL, Sorry to let you guys in the dark, and if this forum allow attachment with pictures, it would be better to let my words make sense easily. wink Well, I have to admit that I speak Chinese while English is my second language, I am still studying at this fabulous language, I'd like to share with people about interesting things found in different places, so I am here! Really very thankful that the forum give me a chance to be here, and know about you guys here! smile

I mean, I just finished my two beaded rabbits, one is my first-done beaded craft finished a month ago, and the other is the latest finished one, I am sure difference between them are really very huge, one is crudely, and the other is delicate, and want to know whether you guys have the same meaning when checking your first projects and the latest one after your beading skills gained huge improvement. grin

You know when you read the words ........and they are English........... and you still are totally in the dark? (like with most instruction manuals) hmm

grrrranny Mon 28-Jan-13 18:33:25

Could be beading of some kind as Mercedes wrote in her first post she was doing that and other craft work as in the title of this thread. Perhaps English is not her first language. I certainly couldn't describe any of my efforts at knitting in another language.

MercedesYang are your rabbits real or are they rabbits you have made? Can you post the pictures on here? flowers

Anne58 Mon 28-Jan-13 15:47:27

Reminds me of that joke, "Do you want them mounted?" ...............

Ana Mon 28-Jan-13 15:39:01

grin

I do hope Mercedes comes back and explains.

I'm wondering what she was learning, do you think she might be an apprentice taxidermist?

numberplease Mon 28-Jan-13 15:28:23

Another confuddled one here!

Anne58 Mon 28-Jan-13 14:25:26

Not all all, Hilda I'm about as confuddled as a confuddled person can be by the OP !

HildaW Mon 28-Jan-13 14:23:21

phew thanks for that Phoenix, glad its not just me!

Anne58 Mon 28-Jan-13 13:07:54

Sorry Mercedes but I don't understand, please can you explain?

HildaW Mon 28-Jan-13 12:58:31

?

MercedesYang Mon 28-Jan-13 09:51:07

After one and a half months' hard learning, my rabbits are here, the first one which is really very awkward to show to others, and the latest one which is well arranged and of good appearance. Well, I’d say, practice makes perfect, difference between the two really shocked me when pictures was taken, and they are too different! Well, what’s your feeling about your first project and your latest project? Do you still remember your first finished piece?
