It's the little things that are so lovely . Things that are so natural and don't cost a penny.

I smiled when I read this by my DGS....

NANA

She acts 9 years old,

She is so full of fun.

She always does sewing and knitting and goes on the computer.

She is always kind to me and cuddles me and looks after me so well !

frida I know just what you mean.
I am ridiculously excited because my little DGD is coming to stay tomorrow for a few days - I can't wait to cuddle her again sunshine

Me too Frida I left work in a quite miserable mood. Called into ASDA on my way home to pick up the basics and heard a voice in the distance GRANDMA I recognised the voice in an instance and my DGD was running full pelt towards me! I will sleep with a smile in my face tonight.

Lovely - children of that age have the precious gift of living in the moment - and for them there are so many new experiences to enjoy.

frida its little things like this that make memories, my DD has small books for the children and records words and things they have done so in years to come she can look back and remember things that she would maybe have forgotten. sunshine

I was babysitting darling GD(15months) today. The postman delivered some letters and they landed on the coir doormat. We went to collect them, GD in her stockinged feet and she squealed in delight when she stepped onto the mat. We had a little game for a few minutes, stepping on and off the mat and this made me feel soooooooo happy. I know this sounds soppy but I will remember it FOREVER.
