I think this sort of thing causes confusion.
One I was sent to a CIB meeting at a hotel and expected to be in a Chartered Institute of Bankers meeting.
I followed signs which said CIB and sat in the room. I was a little surprised I did not know anybody there.
After about 30 minutes I realised I was in the wrong meeting. I was in a Chartered Institute of Builders meeting.
The meeting started with a talk on finance so it took me 30 minutes to pick this up.

No, I like it. It's a way of adding something to a post in a concise and/or slightly humorous way.

I thought it was just a typo - then I saw it happening more often. Don't use Twitter.

Yes it's twitter speak - can be quite funny there and it suits their 140character limit but not sure it translates to GN

aga I don't find it annoying, just confusing as I don't know what it means! grin

agapanthus Sun 17-Feb-13 08:11:54

Does anyone else find the one liners preceded by # with words running together that some posters use annoying? I believe it has its origins in twitter, but as this isn't twitter .......
