Sorry to hear of the death of Richard Briers.

Just seen this too and very sad to hear it. I loved his "Good Life" but he was a fine stage actor too.

He was 79
Many years ago I would have said that was a good age - strange how your perception changes - I now think that 79 is quite young confused

GD said to me this evening, " I am very sorry to hear that this nice actor has died, I loved him as Smee in Peter Pan " I thought this was rather touching from a 7 year old.
