I have just tried inputting my details in to Death Clock and it says I am going to die on the 29 June 8086.
I hope there will be no problems claiming my pension till that date.

Frank

grin when I read "death Clock" I first thought how depressing - but 8086?????

Ana Mon 18-Feb-13 22:32:40

I bet the ladies at the Bums & Tums class will be relieved, Frank! smile

I have just thought my house will not last that long.

Will they be doing Bums and Tums in 8086?.

Hunterf (Frank)

One thing's for sure none of us will know if it's true. grin

Bums and Tums will go on forever....!

Mine says in 9years. It doesn't take into account the fact that none of my female relatives have died before their mid 80's!grin

According to the death clock, my hubby`s been dead for 14 years! I`ve got 8 and a half years to go.

I've got until 2031 and my DH has until 2040.

You have to treat this with a large pinch of salt. If you really want to know the date your likely demise then check out the BBC Health site which has a life expectancy calculator that asks a lot more questions. All you can is to watch your intake and balance your exercise.

What I try to do is to keep relatively trim, walk and cycle where I can. My aim is not so much to live long but to keep fit and active until last possible moment. Most of the damage will already have been done. Both my parents last into their 90's though both very frail. I'm fitter then they were at my age so I must be doing something right.

I started to answer the questions, but when I tried to work out my BMI,it said I am clinically obese!
5'5",size 16, I don't think so!

Ana Tue 19-Feb-13 09:00:31

Merseymog, I don't think anyone was taking the Death Clock seriously! grin

dorsetpennt Tue 19-Feb-13 09:20:02

Death Clock - why would you even look at that let alone take the test? There is a poem somewhere that the only person to know when he is to die is the condemed man - saying it's good that the rest of us don't know.

numberplease Tue 19-Feb-13 16:23:16

Obviously I`m not taking it seriously, unless my husband`s a zombie.............come to think...............!!

Ana Tue 19-Feb-13 16:33:17

Just had a look, out of interest, and had to laugh when I saw one of the answers to the Alcohol Consumption question was 'I'm constantly blotto'! grin

vampirequeen Tue 19-Feb-13 18:58:55

It's just a bit of fun. Mind you if it had said that I was going to pop my clogs tomorrow then I might have had a bit of sleepless night but that would have been making the most of my last few hours grin

Ana Tue 19-Feb-13 19:01:53

I can't help but think that Frank misread his Death Prophesy. Surely they wouldn't give such a silly date? hmm

ginny Tue 19-Feb-13 19:44:28

Well if Frank is going to live that long ,he will never run out of people he knows to bump into when he is out and about.By then maybe all people wil be androgynous so he won't have to worry if 'bums and tums ' classes are mixed or not !

Galen Tue 19-Feb-13 19:52:26

The reason for franks date is that he doesn't really exist!

Ana Tue 19-Feb-13 20:06:54

Of course he does, Galen! In some form or other....
He doesn't worry me, anyway smile

Galen Tue 19-Feb-13 20:46:31

hmm I'm not so sure!
'There are more thing in heaven and earth than are thought of?'

Ana Tue 19-Feb-13 20:47:55

Yes - and Frank is one of them...grin
