anno the sun did shine in the afternoon which was glorious sunshine. DGC enjoyed feeding the ducks and geese and so did I.

Oh dear Mishap......flowers
Gally, blue skies ahead for you I expect - have fun. sunshine

I had a 'duvet day' - well, half a one, today. Feeling a bit better now and swollen glands seem to be going down, so don't look quite so much like a hamster. Not tempted to go out though - cold and grey here on the Devonshire coast.

Mishap It's time you had some good fortune. flowers

Hope you have a great time Gally!
Lovely sunny day here in Boston, 7 degrees.
Wish I was in that beautiful Kintyre, especially a certain spot just below Clachan envy

Fingers crossed that toast stays down, mishap! Whatever next!? flowers

gally, have fun! I'm sure you will smile

Sea fog has finally lifted and I can see there is a world out there still.

Bon voyage, Gally. Enjoy your time with the GC. x x x

Mishap on top of your other problems, that really is adding insult to injury. Is it the norovirus, aka winter vomiting virus? I had it some weeks ago but it didn't last that long. Poor you. flowers

Glorious day today - had lunch with friend but decided not to sit outside!

Ella46 Wed 27-Feb-13 14:46:53

Mishap flowers......please change your name smile

Gally have a safe journey and a wonderful time when you get there sunshine

Mishap Wed 27-Feb-13 14:05:22

Having vomited my way through the last 48 hours, I have very little idea what is happening outside. I have just surfaced for a piece of toast. Really grim bug doing the rounds here - anyone else had it?

Blue skies and sun, again.... Leaving for Oz tonight so going into complete panic mode : cleaning the house from top to bottom and doing all the things I've had all winter in which to do them - perhaps I'm pregnant grinwink

kittylester Wed 27-Feb-13 09:43:20

Just grey here in Leicestershire but I'm off to see our two eldest grandchildren, in Derbyshire, so that should brighten things up. Might try to get DGD1 to watch a musical! sunshine

merlotgran Wed 27-Feb-13 09:37:46

Morning all, Cloudy and cold in the Fens DH has gone fishing and I'm trying to summon up the energy to visit the garden centre. My chooks have eaten the tops off the wallflowers. The blighters have massacred the brassicas angry so I need something bright and cheerful.

Time to pen them all up for the spring!!

FlicketyB Wed 27-Feb-13 09:30:52

Dull and cloudy in Normandy. That applies to DH who is trying to repair a plumbing leak. He has been trying to sort for days and will not get the plumber in!!

Gagagran Wed 27-Feb-13 09:25:09

Heavy cloud layer and feeling cold and dank again here on the south coast. It's been like this for days now and I can't think my spring bulbs will ever get the chance to open their pretty flowers - all tightly furled.

whenim64 Wed 27-Feb-13 09:24:46

A beautful sunny day here in south Mancester, just on the border of Cheshire. All the spring bulbs are shooting up in earnest now, and my bluebells have turned into fat clumps. I love this time of year smile

glassortwo Wed 27-Feb-13 09:23:29

Good morning sunshine Heavy frost here in NE but the sun is trying to break through.

annodomini Wed 27-Feb-13 09:16:49

You're evidently in the wrong part of Cheshire, Sook. It's sunny in my NE corner though not yet warm. sunshine
