Hello Gemmasue, nice to see you. I have spotted your name a few times, hope you are enjoying GN. I must warn you that it can be addictive, whether you mostly lurk or post a lot!

Numberplease yes it is, each time I come into town I think my hearing aid has suddenly been turned up and I am in another country!

I still love living here though, 1943 is the year that I was born I am getting old in the body but my mind is still that of a teenager, or may be a 30 something year old.

Hi Dottie1943 from another Boston resident. Were you born in 1943? I was. I wouldn`t mind moving out to Swineshead, bet it`s a bit quieter than here in town.

Unfortunately, dottie, once you have hit the the 'post message' button nothing can be changed. Despite being able to preview, after which you can change things, we still make typos all the time, especially those of us with touch pads with minds of their own!

dottie1943 Sun 03-Mar-13 17:56:44

Where were you living then prior to returning to the UK?

dottie1943 Sun 03-Mar-13 17:51:42

ooops that should have read busy not cosy, now how can I change that error any ideas please?

dottie1943 Sun 03-Mar-13 17:50:46

Thank you everybody for your most warm welcome messages I am sure that I will enjoy this forum. I have yet got to start looking at all the threads that have already been started (I doubt if I will get to read them all as it is a cusy forum) smilesmilesmile

Good afternoon one and all, my Name is Dottie and I live just outside of Boston in Lincolnshire with my husband Roy and our little Heinz 57 doggie called Lily who was a rescue dog from Spain where we used to live.

We moved back to the UK in 2011 and moved to Deeping St James then on to Swineshead where we both love living.

We have our Golden Wedding anniversary celebrations later this month where all the family will be joining us including a couple of old school friends who came to the original celebrations.

I also belong to two other forums and love to chat on those as well and do hope that you will make me welcome here also.

One Granddaughter who I adore and one Foster Grandson who is also very much part of the family.
