One Billion Rising after V-Day

The global movment to combat violence to women is growing daily, with legislation being created in some countries for the first time.

One week after One Billion Rising, the Violence Against Women Act passed in the United States. V-Day was invited on a thank you call with The White House along with other groups who had worked behind the scenes.
