Just had a queer woman at the door.

She asked me when I was going to move out and let my father's ex take the house.
She did go but she might have physical force used against her if she comes back.

By 'queer' I presume you don't mean gay?

I really do wonder about Frank and whether he is real. I've said this before, I know.

YaYaJen Wed 20-Mar-13 13:23:41

Strange indeed

ginny Wed 20-Mar-13 13:22:37

Please add punctuation as appropriate in above post !

ginny Wed 20-Mar-13 13:21:22

Please tell us why you were banned . . Goodness what is happening round your way How many of your 'abusers' have passed away since the begining of March Is there another story here that you are not telling us ?

whenim64 Wed 20-Mar-13 13:18:01

Frank I was referring to the meetings with social services about care home payments, but interesting that you are banned elsewhere, too! grin

Anne58 Wed 20-Mar-13 13:01:49

The mind boggles as to why Frank has been banned, but you can bet your bottom dollar that it wasn't for getting too merry and leading a table top conga.

Bags Wed 20-Mar-13 12:56:08

Why are the people in your close so mean with 'd' when it comes to Grandma signs?

HUNTERF Wed 20-Mar-13 12:48:18

whenheim64

We don't have meetings with local house owners but I am banned from my local social club.
I am a member of another club about a mile further away and I have no problems there.
The nearest club was advertising for members the other day where as the club I am in is nearly full.
My club steward likes this situation as he does not like having a waiting list like he had a few years ago.
He understands why I am banned from the other club.

Frank can you give us a heads-up about what shocks to the system you might anticipate tomorrow? I think I need a full English breakfast to prepare myself for news of vigilantes outside your house or injunctions preventing you from attending meetings with local elderly house owners! grin

Anne58 Wed 20-Mar-13 12:37:31

Good grief.

HUNTERF Wed 20-Mar-13 12:34:15

The only small problem is most of the houses in the close have a sign saying Granddad's Granma's or Granddad's and Granma's house.
The bungalow has a sign saying Granddad's house which is not correct.
I suppose when my father was alive there should have been a sign saying Granddad's and Granddad Juniors house.

I've never liked the phrase "passed away" as a substitute for "died", but I really like "assed away". Well done, Frank. grin

soop Wed 20-Mar-13 12:07:28

Frank With two signs screwed to the wall in your porch, you should never forget where you live. Have to say, you certainly have whatever it takes to amuse me. grin

HUNTERF Wed 20-Mar-13 12:04:17

I see what you mean Anna. I meant to say passed away.
I think I would be lowering myself to their level if I put grins on this thread.

Frank

HUNTERF Wed 20-Mar-13 11:58:36

Hi Ana

One of my daughters bought me a sign saying Frank's house and the other bought me a sign saying Granddad's house.

They are screwed to the wall in my porch.

Frank

Ana Wed 20-Mar-13 11:56:04

grin grin grin
What's the matter with your typing today Frank?

HUNTERF Wed 20-Mar-13 11:54:27

Elegran

With regard to the suggested advert I think everybody would claim they had not seen the advert.
I got some abuse during the first week of March but I think it is gradually frizzling out.
I have heard some of the abusers have now assed away.

Frank

Ana Wed 20-Mar-13 11:51:59

That's a good name for your house, Frank! grin

Ana Wed 20-Mar-13 11:51:10

Good advice, Elegran, which you and several other members probably gave when Frank first posted a thread about his inherited house some time ago, although it seems to have fallen on deaf ears!

HUNTERF Wed 20-Mar-13 11:50:42

Elegran

I did close the door after telling her to get lost in a very rude manor.
Obviously if she had tried to enter the house I would have shoved the door against her.

Frank

j08 Wed 20-Mar-13 11:50:39

Why don't you contact the police? That is harassment.

Ariadne Wed 20-Mar-13 11:48:04

Simple! Do it.

Elegran Wed 20-Mar-13 11:46:18

You could just have closed the door, Frank

Why not take out a newspaper ad - you know, the kind that used to say "I am not responsible for my wife's debts".

You could say "I wish it to be known that my father left me his half of his house in his will. I already owned the other half. If anyone says or writes that I gained my property any other way, I shall sue them for libel and/or slander."

That would stop ALL the talk about it, around your neighbourhaood and online.
