Thank you very much, Gorki, so do I!

Yes it is indeed Clytie. I am sure you will both enjoy it.I hope you get some sleep !

I'm sure that makes your grandchildren very happy, Gorki!

I think it might be different if I had my grandson more regularly, but the first overnight stay is a Great Occasion!

I sometimes let mine have treacle tart for breakfast as that is their favourite but my daughter would be horrified.

I did not know it was Happiness Day but my grandson has gone to school in his Mr.Happy underpants so that is appropriate at least !

Thank you, j08.

My daughter laughed and confessed that when she stayed with my parents, they'd frequently allowed her to eat cake and ice cream for breakfast so she really couldn't object!
(I did know, of course, but I'm certainly not going to admit that. smile)

And you will eat chocolate all night won't you? smile

Hello

I wanted to use my first post on Gransnet to wish everyone a Happy UN International Happiness Day.

I'm happy today because my 3-year-old grandson is doing his first overnight stay with me tomorrow, and seems very excited. He has announced that "we're going to go in your bed Granny and eat chocolate all night."

What are you happy about?
