TOO MUCH INFORMATION!

HUNTERF Sun 24-Mar-13 22:55:47

What does TMI mean?.

Frank

gracesmum Sun 24-Mar-13 22:40:45

Thank God for that, Frank glad Andie has suffered no ill effects.
The slippers mention was TMI however.

Galen Sun 24-Mar-13 18:00:25

Actually it's GNHQ in disguise!

Ana Sun 24-Mar-13 17:37:08

phoenix, Nonu did express concern about the suitability of Frank's footwear for walking in the snow....wink

Anne58 Sun 24-Mar-13 17:34:03

Now I know that this is a wind up. No grin, as not funny.

HUNTERF Sun 24-Mar-13 17:30:37

Hi Nonu

Yes I have got walking shoes with very good grip and I have got slippers at both my daughters house.

Andie slipped today but he got straight up and gave himself a good shake.

We do have some lovely grandads, who pop up now and then, and the odd one...

CariGransnet (GNHQ) Sun 24-Mar-13 17:11:16

Wasn't a mistake - there was none left because I had eaten it all.

It's been a very long day : (

In the meantime I'm back on the wine wine wine

Grannyknot Sun 24-Mar-13 16:58:58

I'll stop now.

Anne58 Sun 24-Mar-13 16:23:38

Oh dear Grannyknot ! (groan)

Perhaps a thread of their own for these?

Grannyknot Sun 24-Mar-13 15:46:55

sunseeker a clue is the careful full stop at the end of the title.

phoenix I know [diversion] [feeling silly]. Here's another one (I like it that they only work when you read them):

Q. How did the hermit pay for his home?
A. Alone.

A man consulted his Medicine Man about a pain in his stomach that had persisted for three months.

"For something as long as that," said the Medicine Man, "I have a more drastic remedy than the herbs I normally prescribe. Chew on this leather thong every day. It is 31 inches long: chew one inch every day, and at the next moon come back."

The patient dutifully did as directed, and at the next moon he returned to the Medicine Man.

"How do you feel?" the Medicine Man asked.

"The thong is ended, but the malady lingers on."

I think Cari's wine glass is the answer to her emoticon faux pas wink

Oldgreymare Sun 24-Mar-13 14:18:47

Me too sunseeker smile

sunseeker Sun 24-Mar-13 14:04:40

I think I must be psychic - as soon as I saw the title of the thread I guessed the OP would be HUNTERF

JessM Sun 24-Mar-13 14:01:54

Obsessed cari though there are worse things to be obsessed by. Have promised DH to make hot cross buns this afternoon. Note to self. Remember not to put the dried fruit in the bread maker as the result is beige, flecky, sultana flavoured dough.

Ella46 Sun 24-Mar-13 13:59:41

Cari! I can't believe you got the emoticon wrong! grin

CariGransnet (GNHQ) Sun 24-Mar-13 13:52:39

<puts down wine glass and plate and looks innocent>

Gransnet it is. Though cakenet has a nice ring.... [cake]

Nonu Sun 24-Mar-13 13:28:00

Hope you have your sensible shoes on , + your kevelar , if you have one that is , when you and Andie go walkies , don"t want you going A over T.
Also have be mindful your typing finger might get damaged , and you would not be able to post .
Then where would we all be ???

smile

Nelliemoser Sun 24-Mar-13 13:14:27

Why change something that works!
Look what happened with the the Royal Mail debacle. Some silly probably over paid consultant decide to rebrand it as Consignia and it was a PR disaster.

It is mainly Gran's but where else would one feel comfortable about discussing stuff like vaginal atrophy.

If men want a forum why don't they demand it. The fact is point is a lot of men are very bad at talking about themselves and their feelings on the level women do.

Their conversation would be about who had the biggest shed or car or what ever. If you will forgive the generalisations I have made. grin

janthea Sun 24-Mar-13 13:04:29

Ridiculous idea, Frank!
