That, not than. My hands are cold today, can't type.

Strange cut-off there. What I typed was than linen cupboeards still get called airing cupboards.

It is the cupboard that the hot water cylinder is in, with slatted shelves on which you can put newly washed/dried linen to air. These days water tanks are so well insulated that airing cupboards are no warmer than anywhere else, and airing cupboards.

may I ask is a airing cupboard like our utility rooms? Forgive my ignorance but one of the reasons I'm here is to learn. Thanks!

Query. How many bath mats di need. If you only have one bathroom then two should be suffiently unless you and your husband do not share ,in which case you need four?
Does this answer your enquiry.?
If you require a more detailed answer, please send a cheque for one guinea and a stamped self addressed envelope!

Yes! Alright absent! That is how it starts out!

Seems a shame to open up pillowcases once they've been nicely pressed and folded. Perhaps I could clothes peg them together! Would that work?

Or huge paperclips? I could suggest that to Lakeland.

Many charity shops take sheets and odd pillowcases which, depending on their condition, they may sell in the shop, or sell as rags for industry or, in the case of animal charities, use as bedding for dogs and cats.

Why not store your bed linen in sets? Bottom sheet, top sheet and/or duvet cover and all but one pillowcase put together inside the other pillowcase?

I once started out by having plastic boxes for towels another for sheets etc. It works up to a point

I have a feeling they don't but I can't remember why...confused

And how many bath mats do I need?!!!!

j08 Mon 25-Mar-13 15:24:14

Why does mine seem to need turning out practically every two weeks? Why have I not managed to get matching pillowcases for God knows how long? Who put that bag of flanells right at the back (thought we were getting low on them! hmm

And how do you lose a sheet?!

Do charity shops take sheets (no longer deep enough) and odd pillowcases?
