Kintyre is bathed in glorious sunshine. After six days, power has been restored to the village, 'though some people along winding lanes, are still housebound.
We've been to Campbeltown with our friends from whom we hope to purchase the orchard plot. Spent a fruitful thirty minutes with their solr. We then sampled excellent fish and chips at the newly refurbished Royal hotel.
Rory is making a good recovery. He's certainly more mobile and is very affectionate with us. He's sitting just inside the open fron door. I wish that I could read his mind!
Our friends remarked...'that cat came from nowhere in particular. He was offered scraps of food, brought his wifelet and kits into your garden, moved into a wheelie-bin furnished with an igloo cat basket, then moved into his kennel apartment [with door mat and fleece blankets], on into your home on a part-time basis, and is now waited on hand and foot by two besotted humans.' Not bad going, all things considered!
