I do believe that you lot have the measure of "our" Rory. Since the incident by the burn, he's grown accustomed to tuna and being escorted around the garden and having extra cuddles, during which, he purrs loudly and dribbles!

Jo8 He probably arranged it so Soop & Mr Soop would become really sympathetic to the poor brave little man and he could at last become a soft lap cat.

He has probably been wanting to do this for sometime but didn't want to lose face as being a toughie.

Now he has been injured he can bask in the glory of being just a wounded Hero.

That's such good news soop - I've been wondering how he was.

We were talking to a lady in the village shop about "our cat"...OH! she said, Would that be the large, black cat that used to walk along the main road? The cat that no-one dare approach? The cat that fathered a colony up on the hill? Yay, I replied...the very same.

A beautiful sunny day in Kintyre.

For those who care, Rory [RUARAIDH Rooaree in Gaelic] has had his first outing around the garden without an escort. We watched his every footfall. He has, at last, recovered the use of the injured leg. He sat in the sunshine and, as soon as we banged his dish with a spoon, he came rushing back indoors.

Happy Easter Saturday everyone - The sun was brilliant this morning and I am looking forward to an early tea with my late sisters daughter. She looks and reminds me of my sister and I just love to see her. Sunday lunch at my house with my niece, her daughter and her dad. Looking forward to all this weekend.

Sunny here too, heading into the Cotswolds in search of ski gloves for GD's birthday, just as the ski season is coming to a close!

Pouring with rain here in SW France. -rained most of the night too. We intended to go to a market this morning but far too wet and it would only be miserable.

Lovely in Cheshire too. I am off for a walk when my Saturday tablet goes down and I can eat breakfast!

I am feeling really fed up with myself for being idle and I need the sunshine.

Hello again, another pleasant morning here, and no ice on the bird bath, so it must be a little warmer out there than it was yesterday. Husband driving today for the first time after his heart procedure on Monday.

Morning, bright and sunny here in the East Mids but really cold and we just had a flurry of snow. Brrrr!
