It is now forty-one sleeps before I leave the UK forever. We are just about on schedule with the redecoration, carpet fitting and clearing stuff, etc. I am busy sorting the admin and am usually pretty efficient at that sort of stuff. I was trying to explain to Mr absent at lunchtime today how it is like being pregnant – as if he would understand that [daft woman emoticon]. You have this fixed date in your mind when something comes to an end – pregnancy or getting organised to emigrate with three cats – but what you don't register is that everything doesn't go back to how it was before once you hit that date. It's all going to be completely new. [slightly worried and uncertain person, but still looking forward to it emoticon]

sorry I think that should be ...where... are you moving to, I can just see all the Teachers out there becoming furious with my silly mad spellings.

Yes I hope you will not be absent from us and maybe one day we can have a meet-up in NZ (although the Cook Strait might prove a bit of a barrier) hug

* absent* totally natural to be looking forward to it in one way, but to be a bit apprehensive in another!

I so wish I was coming to your "do", not sure if there might be some way.

Only 3 sleeps until I have to face my demons. confused

Much love to you.

We will certainly be having lunch in Richmond in November! And you must try the afternoon teas at the new tea shop on the green in Wakefield.
Always assuming that your family won't take up every minute of your time!
How lovely it will be for you to be with them without counting down the days until you have to leave them again.
Bon voyage!
