Butty Put your house in the listings of one (or all!) of the Gransnet Local sites. It is FREE and if you then mention on the forums that it is listed, everyone will go take a look. The more the merrier.
Soop, just been reading the posts about you leaving. I am distraught, WHERE are you going? Had no idea you were planning a move. Glad to hear Rory making good progress, Henry sends lots of purrs, actually he never purrs, Im wondering if he has a purr box.
number When the time comes, we shall be sad to leave. However, we plan to have some very happy times in the orchard house...especially if there's a little dosh left over after all the upheavel. A wee break in the Highlands would be a real treat. We've been wanting to do just that, for nigh on ten years...
So pleased you got a favourable valuation Soop, now fingers crossed for an early buyer, although I shouldn`t think that you`re in an actual rush to leave there, I know I wouldn`t be!
Promising soop oh already on the look out, you might not even get the board up with a bit of luck a wee dram is needed after all the work you have put in these past few weeks to get everything ready.
glass When he returns to his office, the agent will contact a lady "down south" who has been looking for a wee holiday home in this area for some time. She has friends living in Tarbert, a 14 mile drive away.
I feel a wee dram may be enjoyed after six o'clock.
Your good wishes have worked like a charm. Thank you.
The weather is also in our favour. Glorious sunshine helping to make the most of the views of the islands. Lots of photos taken.
The men have just left, and the verdict is in favour of an asking price that would certainly enable us to proceed. Of course, we now need viewers who are prepared to pay the suggested price. The For Sale board will be in situ on Tuesday.
I think that we shall have to raise a glass of wine tomorrow lunchtime, Bags...
Thanks, Butty I'm off to brew coffee and pop a plate of choc biscuits on the table. I feel sick [with nerves]. I keep thinking...what if...and it really doesn't help.
Bags He's here! The valuation figure will be crucial to whether or not we can go ahead as planned. I shall come back with either a or a response later in the morning. Rory couldn't care less.
vegas That was commonly my experience when I lived in Edinburgh. Such wind! Got stuff dry though, or at least to the stage where it only needed an airing in the house. As a friend once said, she could tell when it was summer because I put my clothes horse away
Another sunny day in Kintyre. The man who will provide us with the 'home information pack' and the estate agent will be here very soon. I've done all that I can to present our wee home at its best. Now feel like a wet rag! Rory decided to use his litter tray a few moments ago...he'd been on a long walkabout in the garden, but waited until he came indoors to do the business. All sorted!
Bright and breezy here in Manchester. Have just hung out my washing Bags - so windy it was like wrestling with the top gallants (or whatever) in Hornblower!
