Mr soop took four photos, two of which were out of focus [so he's not quite as perfect as I may have told you before. Bags was blinking on the third. The fourth was good, and is the image I posted yesterday.

Good to see the two of you enjoying a wee swally together. Good to know that Rory is getting back to normal even if he had been sick. A certain cat I know often throws up and then comes back and eats it all again... [yuck emoticon]

I didn't plan to come on to GN today...but I couldn't resist uploading pic of Bags and me having a lovely lunchtime treat. It has been a special day in so many ways. Such good fun, and more besides. Thank you, Bags for the keepsake...something to treasure.

Rory has been alone all day. We returned to discover that he had been sick. All cleaned away. He looks very happy [in a funny feline way!]

Tomorrow is the village flower festival. Mr soop and I are to help out in the morning. I shall be back as soon as poss to check on you lot and satisfy myself that you're all enjoying the spring sunshine and haven't been up to too much mischief in the meantime.

Sounds like a good lunch was had by all, despite the lack of mushy peas! Look forward to seeing photos.
First thing this morning, I opened the door for Mia to go out, and was confronted by a beautiful striped tabby cat. Mia couldn`t decide whether to go out or not, they stood sniffing each others faces for a few minutes over the step, then the newcomer decided to come in! Mia wasn`t too happy, I don`t think, she gave a faint growl in his direction and I sent him out again, she stayed in. However, he`s been hanging around for most of the day, keeps miaowing at the door and on the window sill, Mia went out, but they just sat eyeing each other up. I did keep watch, in case there was a fight, as he`s a big boy, still with all his attachments!

Had lunch with soop and MrSoop – they treated me . We all had fish and chips. There were no mushy peas, at which we expressed such outrage that the waiter (who had a foreign accent; that is significant, as you'll see) went and told him we wanted the garden peas mashed up . Then he came back and told us this but we assured him that REALLY it was allright. So my plate had mashed garden peas and their two plates had unmashed garden peas. Naturally we fought over the mashed ones .

soop was true to form and finished off my wine. I dared not have more than half a glass because I would be driving the last half hour of my journey home later. Then she asked for rice pudding. Poor waiter came back saying there wasn't any but then a wiatress came over and soop, undaunted, asked again. There was rice pudding, proper baked rice pudding, so she had a monster bowl of that while MrSoop and I watched.

I hope that waiter will get used to Scottish gran humour before too long! Poor man. He can't have been there long. The hotel gate keeper was very jocular in the usual west of Scotland style that leaves a wide on your face.

DH has just gone off to the other home, says he will be back this evening, I wonder how I am ever going to occupy myself

There is a built-in magnet. There are a hundred things I should be doing, but I keep coming back for a look.

I'm trying to get up the enthusiasm to clean the house, as we have visitors Sunday. I HATE cleaning, keep getting drawn to the computer instead!
