A blue whale's fart bubbles are large enough to enclose a horse.

I am quite pleased I did not know that, now I do know, what should I do with that useless piece of information? - Sorry that sounds, rude, not meant to be, just a comment - perhaps I should delete that - but no, I am not, and the apology stands.

Greatnan Sat 06-Apr-13 08:28:45

Printmiss - I love useless bits of informtion. If you don't - just forget it.

gillybob Sat 06-Apr-13 08:41:52

I love useless information too. I will pass this particularly funny snippet on to my grandchildren who will no doubt collapse in a fit of the giggles and will not be able to wait to pass it on. grin

Greatnan Sat 06-Apr-13 08:44:34

gillybob - isn't it nice to be able to keep a childlike sense of humour, and share it with your gc?

ginny Sat 06-Apr-13 08:51:45

I agree Greatnan my 10 year old DGS will be thrilled to pass on this very important information. grin

ninathenana Sat 06-Apr-13 10:34:41

I have just passed this on to DH after all he has the sense of humour of a 10 yr old grin grin

Nelliemoser Sat 06-Apr-13 10:38:42

How many horses were drowned in the gathering of that piece of information. grin wink

Nelliemoser Sat 06-Apr-13 10:40:18

Thinking about it! They would probably have been asphyxiated by the methane first! grin

Galen Sat 06-Apr-13 10:53:49

Love it!grin

annodomini Sat 06-Apr-13 11:26:46

I think my 8-year-old GS needs to know this, though he may well go and relay it to his teacher as soon as he gets back to school... grin

Mishap Sat 06-Apr-13 11:29:13

My GC will love that!!

NfkDumpling Sat 06-Apr-13 20:25:14

Love it - will share! However, DD will want to know how big a horse - Shire or moon dancing Shetland?

Ariadne Sat 06-Apr-13 21:17:31

Bags grin

merlotgran Sat 06-Apr-13 21:24:25

DGS3 will love this. He's just at that mischevious lavatorial humour stage which is always so funny.

janthea Sun 07-Apr-13 08:28:52

My oldest grandson will love this.

goldengirl Sun 07-Apr-13 10:38:01

Having just read Fluff the farting fish to my GC this additional bit of info will go down a treat!

Thistledoo Sun 07-Apr-13 10:42:42

LOL. grin

Forzanonna Sun 07-Apr-13 10:45:35

Love it - will store this piece of useless information for the right moment!

Nelliemoser Sun 07-Apr-13 11:02:06

I love all these Grans feeding their GCs with silly and "rude" information. smile
Some time ago on Facebook my son and contacts were involved in getting song or film titles to describe a poo! All these intelligent professional 30 somethings reverting to being 4yrs old again. grin

annodomini Sun 07-Apr-13 11:20:18

Certain 40-year-olds in my family have never stopped being four-year-olds! My late father had a rather lavatorial sense of humour right to the end.

Grandmanorm Sun 07-Apr-13 11:28:55

I am certainly passing that one on, thank you. I just know my grandson will love that, and so will my DH and DSs!
