Had a bad night so didn't get to see the morning, but looking out of my window now I can't see the tops of the hills across the valley as a sea mist has come in - and it's raining.

But! I have tadpoles! Lots of them. Much to my surprise the spawn survived being frozen!

Cloudy here, but a few patches of blue sky so there is hope. Don't think I will be going anywhere today, DH just found a giddy big nail in the tyre and a puncture of course.

Just done my fast walk round the village and it's positively balmy at 6 degrees

Ditto in North Cheshire, sook. Long may it last. The birds are very active in the garden and a pair of house sparrows were blatantly mating on my amelanchier tree.

Good Morning everyone. A brilliant blue sky in South Cheshire . Our morning walk was upset by an escapee Jack Russell who was definitely not afraid of greyhounds. He was a damned menace and continued to pester us until his dozy owner finally captured him. My hounds behaved impeccably (smug grin) so got lots of extra treats after their breakfast.

Morning from France - sunny here so far - we had plenty of rain later yesterday but we are forecast warmer days next week. Spent ages this morning putting numbers into the new phone we had to buy. I am sure I will appreciate the effort when I come to ring someone! Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Good morning. Hazy sunshine here in West Cheshire. DH is supposed to be concentrating on decorating the kitchen, but he's still snoozing in bed. I think I might tackle some of the ever increasing weeds in the garden if the weather stays fine.

Good morning, a bit late out of bed today, not sure why, because the sun is brilliant and usually wakes me up. Should be playing bowls this p.m. but forecast is gloomy, so wait and see, enjoy your day.

No sign of sun yet in devon, but as I am cooking buffet supper for 40 in the village hall, will not get out of kitchen for hours anyway. (I was going to write finger buffet, but thought it sounded as if I was cooking fingers, why do we call it that?) No more time for GN today, hope you all have a good day and not too much arguing!!!
