No! I was once in a trimaran on the Channel on a choppy sea. So ill with the bumping waves, I didn't care if we sank without trace!! Back in port, I was fine. So weird.

Not so much fun if you're out in them though!

Good afternoon all. Back from school in a gale. Waves on our wee loch. Lots of tweets from Argyll & Bute Council about ferries not running. Force 10 expected in some places. Batten down the hatches!

Fun though in a wacky sort of way. I love seeing the white horses on the sea.

Good afternoon all. Wind and rain outside and very fierce. Nice and cosy in our wee But & Ben. Washing machine man in at the moment looking at the dishwasher and the washer/dryer, both going at once boo hoo.

Me and my DH flew to Bristol on Friday to see 4 of our grandchildren. What a time we had. We went to the cinema to see Nimo then on to Franky and Bennies. Great fun. The next day it was our sons birthday so naturally we partied all day long. Monday we left Sons house to attend a Housesitters interview cause we fancy sitting in a grand old house looking after a couple of dogs/cats now that we are retired. I do take my hat off to my DH cause he did all the driving to Buckinhamshire for the interview.

Life is great

It is quite pleasant in my part of the north east - the sun is shining, but the wind is blowing a gale.

We have DGS for the day which started when he and his dad arrived with a pop up castle for him to play with - what fun it has been when we eventually managed to assemble it - DH isn't very good at reading instructions! DGS is having his nap at the moment and then this afternoon we will take him to the playground to run off some more energy,

I had to give in and do the ironing yesterday - needed some lighter weight trousers to wear and they had been packed away. I could do with sorting out Tshirts too but that can wait another few days. Haircut this afternoon.

Bright and breezy with clouds looming, but got all the washing dry yesterday. Have done a little ironing because I didn't have much left to wear.

I!m sitting upstairs looking out over the harbour where the boats are all rocking' 'n rolling up and over the white horses. It's in weather like this that one usually slips its moorings and takes off towards the North Sea

Lovely morning. Been out to feed a friend's cat and chooks, collected the eggs (3). Hope the sun is still shining this evening - we've got a viewing.

Very windy with grey scudding clouds, promise of rain later. DIL on the phone at 8am their heating has broken down and we are looking after GD after nursery. We will have to bring her to our house 45 minutes drive away and do that 4 times today, oh joy.

Good morning from Bergerac - or not far away! -- had a lovely afternoon yesterday and so far today is nice and sunny. We went for a walk yesterday evening and saw deer running across the road in front of us. Busy day today - much needed haircut this afternoon and DH has an appointment with our lovely GP to talk about his recent operation and how things are all progressing. Hope you all have a good day.

Morning, everyone. I've had a lovely long weekend break in the Lakes, enjoying a stay in what my 4 year old grandson called a 'log cabbage.' Great to see the little cousins splashing about in the swimming pool together, and 11 week old grandson careering through the water like a cruise missile with his proud dad, oblivious to mum, auntie and nana entreaties to 'go gently!' Happy days

Morning, a bit damp here, but hopefully it will brighten up, looking forward to playing a short 'roll-up' at bowls this morning, so wrapping up because we now have to play outside, and it is not all that warm, just good company and exercise, both tongue and body!
