That's sad. Smollie could make me laugh my socks off. I trust that her absence means that she's now employed. If so, I'm delighted for her. flowers

Very late greeting you all again today, it has been another brilliant sunny day. I missed my morning roll up at bowls because of an hospital appointment. All is well, which made the sunny day even sunnier.

Thank you, number

Another wee diversion...apologies in advance of being berated. I haven't heard from NellieSmol. Is all well with her? I'm hoping that she has the job she hoped for. I really miss her zany sense of humour.

vegasmags...good news, indeed. I'm feeling really positive. The surgeon is a very nice man. Good sense of humour...which counts for a lot.

The sun is beaming down in Kintyre. The waves are gently lapping the sea shore. I can hear the low hum of pebbles shifting...

Sounds like good news soop. Grey, cold and drizz miz here in Manchester. Glad I did the gardening yesterday in the sunshine. Just helped a neighbour complete a passport application, which was a good excuse further to put off the dreaded housework.

Good morning to Gransnetters from a misty-grey Kintyre day.

Wee diversion...
I missed sending greetings yesterday [a rainy start and a sunny end to the day] - much of which was spent in Southern General hospital in Glasgow. Conclusions ref umpteen consultations reached at long last. Friendly, considerate and respectful staff. [just saying]
Not long to wait for surgery for repair to problem area. sunshine

I've a wee portrait to paint of a pretty cat named Lucy. smile

Beautiful day here in Inverness-shire, but still a really cold wind. Should be out doing the garden. But Im on GN!!!

It's grey and rainy in County Durham today. Good excuse for a third cup of tea. Must make a to do list. Very rewarding and helps me procrastinate a little longer

In Oxfordshire it is beautifully sunny. When I went for my morning walk the birds were singing, there were spring flowers everywhere and the willow trees by te brook where that lovely light green and not yet completely out of bud stage and the tree looked like filigree lace.

Good morning. It's grey and cloudy but quite mild in South Cheshire. We enjoyed a very pleasant walk across the fields this morning. At the moment I'm enjoying a second cup of tea whilst catching up with Gransnet and making the most of the early morning quiet before GS2 arrives for the day.

Good morning. Sunny here in SW France today but according to the forecast not so good for the next few days so I shall make the most of it
