Bright blue sky, chilly but mostly sunny with the odd dark cloud scudding past. Better than yesterday's dollop of snow, sleet and hail.

If I tell you that the weather here in bonnie Kintyre is utterly gorgeous, you have to believe me.

Butty Had almost finished the wee portrait of a pretty cat named Lucy, when I decided that it was not good enough. Hey ho!...as Bags is known to say. Ready for a fresh start. Full of optimism. All set to create a mini-masterpiece.

Chilly and grey here in Manchester but the little seedlings on the windowsill are pushing up regardless. Cooking dinner for friends tonight so must do a bit of serious tidying up this morning.

Good morning everyone. Woke to a heavy frost but it's a lovely morning sunny and bright. DH is performing surgery on the lawn mower ha! Nothing is simple and straightforward with him. It could take all day. Just get on with it man.

Good morning from a dull and cool Dordogne - think it is due to warm up again tomorrow. Hope the all you ladies doing charity work have a friendly, happy chatty day too.

Snowing again! That makes it six months, apart from a few days of sun.
New Zealand is sounding more and more tempting! (Only joking, I love the mountains in the snow!)
I had a very long call from my Antipodean daughter, all good news. Lara has got the car and put it on Trademe at once. She was not even tempted to keep it, although it is a lovely top-of-the-range Fiesta. As she said to her mother 'If somebody gave me $20,000 I wouldn't go and spend it on a car'. Talk about an old head on young shoulders!
My youngest grandson, who is 14, enjoyed taking part in the ANZAC day services in his new Sea Cadet uniform.
And my horse-mad daughter took her horse to a 'horse clinic' and got some excellent advice on managing her. The 'horse whisperer' was a cowboy and teaches rodeo skills. DD is 50 in July - you are never too old to learn!

Good morning to everyone,a bright but chilly morning here by The Mersey but a nice clear view across The River to Liverpool,I'm off now to do my bit at our local charity shop and see what delights we have brought in to us to day from our lovely supporters.
